Jacomo and his friend, Marcella, were rescued from the refuse dump in Cyprus where they were trying to survive and find food for themselves amongst the rubbish. With no mum-cat around to guide and protect them it was a daily struggle.
Luckily they were spotted and rescued before any harm could come to them. With good food and a safe place to sleep, they blossomed and were soon the happy playful kittens that they should be. Unfortunately it wasn’t possible for them to stay with their rescuer and arrangements were made for them to travel to Mayflower to look for their forever home.
5 month old Jacomo is the more timid of the pair and relies on Marcella for confidence. Therefore they must be rehomed together. They havent met dogs but I’m sure that with careful introductions they will learn to get along. Sorry but we dont rehome kittens with children under 5 years old.
Despite being found on a rubbish tip they have spent the majority of their lives indoors so would be suitable as housecats. However they’re young enough to adapt to a life exploring a secure garden once thoroughly settled.
They’ve been through such a lot in their short lives, could you offer them the loving home that they deserve ?
