Yet another kitty who has fallen on hard times and ended up on the streets trying to survive as a stray.
With nobody to care for her, Jemima was finding life really hard but luckily she was spotted raiding the bins hoping to find a meal and rescued. Thin, dirty and covered in fleas she was in a real sorry state but with a full tummy and a treatment for her ‘little lodgers’ life was looking a lot better for her.
Despite exhaustive attempts to find her owners nobody came forward to claim her and, unable to stay at her rescuers, they asked Mayflower for help.
Spayed, fleatreated and starting to put on weight, 3 year old Jemima is now a picture of health.
Extremely affectionate with a purr like a motorboat Jemima is an absolute treasure to have around.
She is a little unsure of dogs at the moment but is learning to be sociable with others cats. To be honest she prefers the company of humans rather than her own kind.
All she needs now is a family to love and care for her.
