My name is Midnight,
My owner unfortunately passed away, it has just been me and him all my life so when i arrived at Mayflower i started to shut myself down, i became depressed and angry. I would take this anger out on my new carer, i wouldn’t allow her to touch me & i would go to scratch her if she attempted to stroke me. During the lockdown my new carer worked hard to gain my confidence, every day she would come and sit with me, talk to me and eventually i started to take treats from her hand. Now i’m a brand new cat! I don’t mind being here after all, i get lots of cuddles and attention. I can still attempt to scratch if i feel threatened so any children in my new family must be 10+. I’m very vocal and you will usually hear me before you see me!
I have recently been adopted but i had to return to Mayflower as i wasn’t getting on well with the other cat in the household.
