My name is Mr Daisy,
I arrived at Mayflower in December as I couldn’t be trusted with the young children in the household. When I got here my new carer was impressed with how quickly I settled into my new environment & how loving I was. I was always sat in the front of my pen waiting for someone to come give me attention. My name always brings up questions, my first owners got told I was a girl but when I went to the vets to be neutered everyone got a shock! The families young children didn’t understand why I couldn’t be called Daisy anymore so the name stuck!
It didn’t take me long to get a potential home which I went to a week later. I settled in right away and for the first couple of days, I was an angel. Unfortunately my behaviour started to deteriorate a few days later, I started to become aggressive and I would randomly attack my new humans arms or legs. This made my new owners anxious about me, they constantly wondering where I was and if I was in attack mode. So I’ve had to come back to Mayflower.
Now I’m back, I’m being a good boy again, not once have I bitten or scratched my carer
Because of my history of aggression I need to go to an adult only home who are confident enough to handle me at my worst. My carer is hoping that once I’ve settled in a home I could go out and burn off some of my energy so my carers are looking a home where the environment is safe for me to have little adventures.
