Barley arrived into our care from Romania. When he came off the transport, it was clear that he was unwell. He saw our vets and received the heart breaking diagnosis, he had got cancer. He underwent 6 weeks of chemotherapy and was doing really well, but sadly had a complication which meant he had to undergo surgery and become an honorary woman…
Barley has a super cheeky personality and loves a good back/bum scratch and cuddle. He constantly makes his carers laugh and has recovered well from the surgery to remove the cancer. He does like going out on walks, however these walks he likes to stay steady and to potter around sniffing. He really does have a heart of gold, he just needs a little bit of time to get to know you
